# Role-Based Permissions & Access Control

## Understand the different user and access roles

SymantoAssist provides two user access levels:

- **Reader Access**: You can view the dashboard and see call details, but cannot make changes.
- **Admin Access**: Includes all Reader capabilities plus additional permissions to create and change AI agents, upload documents, and more

| **Reader** | **Admin** |
| --- | --- |
| View Dashboard | All Reader capabilities |
| See call details | Create and modify AI agents |
| No ability to make changes or manage settings | Upload documents |
|   | Other administrative actions |

 

**Want to get Admin Access?**

Please send an Email to [kim.kachelriess@symanto.com](mailto:kim.kachelriess@symanto.com) stating that you want to request Admin Access for the SymantoAssist account and we will take care of it.
